Turgutlu City Museum

About the Project

Turgutlu City Museum is a city museum designed for Turgutlu Municipality, telling the past of the city inside a historical building.

The museum is located in a historical building with a blue facade. Inside, archival photos and map panels are highlighted with a graphic red wall; period figures and objects set the scene in rooms with stone and brick textures.

The section created with tent and life scenes conveys the local life culture, while panels and display cases explain the city's history. Visitors wander among various narrative forms extending from documents to scenes.
