About the Project

The Salt Museum is a museum designed for the Çankırı Governorship, narrating the story of salt extending from its geological formation to human life.

The exhibition opens with a geological timeline titled "Layers of Time"; long showcases and panels support this timeline with objects. It then transitions into a rock-textured mine gallery, where an illuminated walkway and wagons invite visitors underground.

The large salt crystal at the center and display screens bring the exhibition to both a visual and educational climax.
