About the Project

Museum Tower is a project designed for the Governorship of Manisa that transforms a historic tower structure into an exhibition space.

The tower is approached as a stone structure standing against a mountain and green landscape. Inside, there are exhibition surfaces with red accents, panels divided into topics such as women and the Red Crescent (Hilal-i Ahmer), narratives of the Princes' dispatch to the provinces, and Ottoman state administration.

Mannequins, showcases, and graphic panels unite different layers in a narrow tower volume along a single narrative route.
