About the Project

The Dereboyu Urban Design Project approaches the urban area stretching along a stream line as a continuous public flow that brings together walking, cycling, sports, and recreational uses.

In the design, the cycling and walking paths along the waterfront are separated from the road by dense planting strips. Benches, stone seating elements, and tree-lined pockets create resting points along the line.

The outdoor sports area along the route stands out with exercise equipment set up on a wooden platform. Table tennis and playgrounds are located nearby. Thus, the stream bank transforms into a vibrant gathering space for different ages and activities at all times of the day.
