Küçükpark Renovation Project
Bornova, İzmir
About the Project
Designed for Bornova Municipality, the Küçükpark Renovation Project transforms an existing city park into a user-oriented meeting square.
The park is stepped with gravel-surfaced open squares, lawn areas, and tree-lined pockets. Organic stone seating elements reminiscent of pebbles are scattered throughout the park, while the stepped seating area acts as a stage for small gatherings and events.
A plaque installation suspended on a metal frame makes the memory of the park visible within the space. Night lighting and seating islands with wooden flooring keep the area lively during the evening hours.
