About the Project
Designed for the Governorship of Sivas, the Civilization Carved in Stone Museum centers on the Divriği Great Mosque and Hospital.
The exhibition opens with a map showing Divriği's location in Anatolia and a large visual of the structure; the display case model shows the building in its entirety. Panels explain the structure's place on the UNESCO World Heritage list.
Subsequent sections focus on the language of stone, the masters' workshop, and the plan of the hospital; touchscreens invite visitors to explore the details of the structure.
